At Bonebakker Jeweller, we genuinely delight in brands that inspire us — and Maison Repossi did so from the very first moment. This house knows how to combine heritage and innovation in an elegant and modern way. It is a great pleasure to present their creations in Amsterdam to everyone who loves refined, contemporary luxury. And the brand’s 40th anniversary even has a Dutch touch!
In our boutique, we can show you a wide selection of this exceptional Italian/French brand. The Repossi collection includes gold rings and bracelets, necklaces with pendants, and, naturally, gold earrings. We warmly invite you to admire the Repossi jewellery collection in our salon at Mandarin Oriental Conservatorium Amsterdam.
Repossi was founded in 1957 by Costantino Repossi in Turin, Italy. In 1974, the founder’s son, Alberto Repossi, took over the company’s leadership. He moved to Monte Carlo, where he opened the first boutique outside Italy in 1978. The boutique on the promenade of Monte Carlo quickly attracted an international and royal clientele, and Alberto was appointed official supplier to the Monegasque court. Among other things, he designed the engagement ring that Prince Albert of Monaco gave to his future bride, Charlène.
In 1986, a second international boutique followed, at the prestigious Place Vendôme 6 in Paris. There, it became clear that this was not a jewellery house that wanted to preserve tradition, but one that aimed to reshape it. That courage, that forward-thinking, is something we recognise at Bonebakker. From the earliest collections, Repossi’s designs radiate timelessness, balanced with an almost architectural aesthetic.
In 2007, Gaia Repossi took over the artistic direction as the third generation. Her background in art history and archaeology is immediately apparent: she designs jewellery that is sculptural, graphic, yet light and wearable. For us at Bonebakker, it is a pleasure to introduce clients to her vision. Anyone who sees the jewellery immediately feels the power of minimalism — and how a piece can be modern, sensual, and subtle at the same time.

Repossi is known for designs that are both powerful and comfortable. Think of the iconic ear cuffs with which Gaia set an international trend. Or the rings in which diamonds appear to float thanks to the innovative Serti sur Vide setting — a technique we proudly explain time and again in our Boutique.
The use of black gold, a deeply coloured ruthenium finish on 18‑karat white gold, is also quintessentially Repossi.
All Repossi pieces are handcrafted in Italian ateliers with which the house has collaborated for more than forty years. You can see and feel that long-standing partnership: every piece tells a story of precision, dedication, and vision.
For the 40th anniversary of Repossi on Place Vendôme, the house sought a collaboration with Dutch designer Sabine Marcelis. In 2016, she already worked with her partner Rem Koolhaas (OMA) on the redesign of the ground floor of Repossi’s Boutique at 6 Place Vendôme. Marcelis’ clean lines, her play with light, and her modern use of materials align beautifully with the world of Repossi. This time, she designed two mirrors in the shape of the new Antifer rings for the boutique on Place Vendôme.
That this creative cross‑pollination came about with a Dutch designer makes us especially happy. It confirms how naturally Repossi has found its place within our Amsterdam collection.

We would be delighted to show you our full Repossi jewellery collection in our boutique. You are warmly invited to visit us, but feel free to order your favourite Repossi pieces online as well. They will arrive in a beautiful gift box. And if you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
