Bracelet for men according to Balinese jewellery art

A Bracelet for men by John Hardy is a men’s bracelet built on deep-rooted tradition. Founded in 1975 by Canadian designer John Hardy, the John Hardy brand is known for impressive jewellery inspired by Asian handicrafts. Each men’s bracelet, and the rest of the jewellery in the unique collections, are handmade using a craftsmanship technique passed down from generation to generation.

Bracelet for men with a message

The production of John Hardy jewellery takes place in Mumbal, Bali. For the brand, sustainability is a given and implemented in all layers of the production process. The jewellery factory in Bali also serves as an organic farm, and production is exclusively eco-friendly.

Jewellery art from Bali with French DNA

In 1999, Guy Bedarida, Senior Designer of the Haute Joaillerie of Boucheron and Van Cleef and Arpels, joined the company. In the role of Chief Designer, Bedarida expanded Hardy’s design concept to include European design features. The results include bracelets for men that are as iconic as they are unique.

Bracelet for men full of tradition

John Hardy bracelets are mostly made from Sterling silver, using techniques from traditional Balinese jewellery art. In Bali, around 500 artisans from several generations work to create John Hardy products. The importance of keeping Balinese heritage art alive not only defines John Hardy’s philosophy, it also ensures that the families who understand this tradition of meditative, communal hand-chain weaving, hammering and carving, make a living.

This spirit of togetherness and the deep connection to Bali and its traditions of jewellery art is one of the biggest inspirations for the brand.
