Revolutionary Art – Revolutionary Jewels
Masters like Auguste Renoir, Vincent van Gogh and Claude Monet introduced the world to their revolutionary art. In the Impressionism Collection, the dots and keys of their brushes have been replaced by small, colourful gemstones. They capture light in a way that the Impressionists of the 19th century showed in their artworks.
The entire collection is designed and made in Bonebakker Juwelier’s studio. A gemstone expert meticulously looks for the right colours in the gemstones until he has found the ultimate combination. We then have the gemstones cut into the right shapes (like the triangles of the almond blossom). The combination with the gold jewellery in which these stones are set is of unparalleled beauty.
Bold jewellery with a bohemian nature
The Impressionism Collection exudes the freedom and spontaneity of the Impressionist art movement. Where the famous painters conjured up colourful fields of flowers and serene landscapes on canvas, Bonebakker conjures a palette of colour gemstones on the neck, finger or wrist. Think of various colours of sapphire, white diamond, ruby, tsavorite and emerald.
